Let your kids drain away their energy and develop a fit and healthy by regularly jumping in trampoline. A trampoline specially made for kids ages 3 and up is the Upper Bounce Super Round Trampoline Safety Pad. It’s great for indoor playing. The kids can jump comfortably in the extra wide jumping mat with a diameter of 48 in. The sturdy steel frame can handle the weight of a jumping kid. The trampoline has a weight capacity of 100 lbs. The mat provides superior bounce with 30 springs.
The kid can jump securely with the frame covered with thick foam pad and a padded adjustable handle bar. The assembled dimension of the trampoline is 48 in x 48 in x 40 in and has a weight of 15 lbs. The trampoline has been tested and approved by the ASTM.
- Jumping Space: 10/10
The jumping space offers enough space for a kid to jump freely without worrying about getting near the edge or the frame. The 48 in diameter jumping mat is very wide for a kid’s trampoline.
- Longevity: 9/10
The trampoline is able to last for a couple years. The only problem is that some customers have complained how the trampoline parts arrive bent or damaged. Once the part(s) is replaced and the trampoline is assembled, it’s very sturdy and durable.
- Assembly: 8/10
It is recommended that two people assemble the trampoline because it is difficult. The instructions might be clear but handling the springs and poles is quite hard. It take around 2 hours to get the trampoline put together.
- Security: 8/10
Most kid’s trampolines have enclosure aside from the handle. This trampoline only has a handle bar. While this makes the kid inside safe, it always a good idea to put additional safety features to the trampoline especially if kids are going to be using it. An enclosure and an all-around handle make the trampoline as safe as possible.
- Portability: 8/10
The trampoline weighs 15 lbs. An adult can easily move it around different parts of the house although not outside since it’s not built to suit the outside outdoor condition. The handlebar can get in the way if it is to be stored away. It needs to be disassembled first.
- Quality: 8/10
Although it’s not the fault of the product’s company if the parts get damaged upon shipping but it is their responsibility to make sure that the defective parts will be replaced immediately. A lot of customers have complained about how the company takes too long to take action in replacing the damaged parts.
Defective parts aside, the trampoline is sturdy and durable with its excellent materials and enough safety features. Passing the ASTM is clear proof of the product’s quality.
- Value for Money: 8/10
The product costs around $100. For a kid’s trampoline, this price is high. Although the trampoline is wider than most kid’s trampoline but its safety features is fewer than the other trampolines. Considering the frequent situations where customers receive defective parts and take too long to get the replacements from the company, the cost of the trampoline do not match its value.
